ALTERNATE MECHANISMS PROMOTE DAMAGE REPAIR

The FGESLP head, José Luis Ruiz Contreras highlighted the importance of the Alternate Conflict Resolution Mechanisms in the accusatory criminal system.

Also, he mentioned the following about these mechanisms: “they are the base where is supported the system spirit which is implemented today in Mexico”.

Then, Ruiz Contreras added the importance of practicing the resources writen in the National Law of Alternative Mechanisms for the Resolution of Disputes in Criminal Matters.

At the end, he indicated that a mentality change have to begin in order to carry out a conciliation process, damage reparation and alternative justice.
