• The institution is reprobated and without a criminal policy prosecution.
• Took protest as FGESLP General Head by Congress decision.

SLP. – After took protest as FGESLP General Head, José Luis Ruiz Contreras indicated that the principal aim is to give optimal results to citizens who require the services of law enforcement.

“I am very grateful for the Congress decision; the main objectives are improve the results in benefit to the society” he mentioned.

He pointed out that another aspect to consider is the creation of a prosecution criminal policy.

“I have been referring to it since before, the institution does not have a prosecution criminal policy, but it will be created in this project” Ruiz Contreras indicated.

He mentioned that work will also be done to improve the service to users with a more personalized attention.

The Attorney General of the State was appointed by a qualified majority, obtaining 26 votes in his favor by the members of the LXIII Legislature, for the period from December 10, 2021 to October 26, 2024.
