
FGESLP AND IMES AGREE TO WORK FOR THE BENEFIT OF WOMEN

In order to carry out joint actions to ending gender violence, the FGESLP and the San Luis Potosí Women’s Institute attended a work meeting.
Jose Luis Ruiz Contreras, FGESLP head highlighted the taking action importance with IMES institution to prevent violence against women.
Marcela García Vázquez, IMES head, mentioned the institution under his charge and the staff who work there, are in the best disposition to workin with FGESLP staff through training about gender perspective to public prosecutor, experts and police.
Also, the FGESLP will work to celebrate “International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women” from the next November 25th until December 10th, “International Human Rights Day”.
Evangelina Castillo Montero, Special Prosecutor’s Office for Attention to Women, the Family and Vulnerable Groups head, will participate in this celebration.
At the end, both institutions agreed to work together and permanent for the benefit of women’s rights in SLP.
